This six-hour course sharpens semi-automatic rifle handling on AR-15 and AK platforms through performance analysis and focused drills. Students refine accuracy, reloading, and basic malfunction clearance while evaluating equipment setup to improve consistency and speed.

- Operating techniques including:
- Accuracy
- Reloading techniques
- Basic malfunction clearances
Course Details:
- Duration: 6 hours
- Time: 11:30AM – 5:30PM
- Investment: $220
- Ammunition: At minimum 200 rounds (not included)
- Equipment: Students must bring their own gear (see list below)
- Prerequisites: R1 or equivalent (Students can submit certificates from other training facilities to training@wbarmory.com to see if they meet the requirements to enroll in this course.)
- Achievement: R2 upon completion
- What to Bring:
- Semi-automatic rifle or carbine
- No machine guns, forced reset triggers, or binary triggers
- Rifle mounted sling and optic
- Minimum of 2 magazines and magazine pouches
- Pants with belt loops and a sturdy 1.5″ belt
- Closed-toe shoes, weather-appropriate clothing
- Wraparound eyewear or non-shattering prescription glasses
- Ear protection
- Lunch/snack and a water bottle
- Semi-automatic rifle or carbine

After R2 with Kevin, I was convinced that I should spend the bulk of my time practicing in courses instead of on the range. R2 is a great transitional course into more complex work and Kevin did a commendable job covering the material while scaling the complexity of exercises to a more experienced group. Kevin is a great instructor and even better guy that I hope to learn more from in the future.
This course is absolutely worth taking and is not simply a stepping stone to more advanced instruction.

Took r2 yesterday and had a great time,learned to take rifle manipulation to the next level……..well tried to take it to the next level,I need a lot of practice,but,Dylan gave me the tools I need to improve my rifle handling.Dylan is a awsome instructor and will take the time to explain things so that even I can understand,three times if necessary.I found that I have a slight stigmatism wher my red dot was hard to identify,Dylan showed me a way to fix that and man what a differance,I’m very greatful for that.Again Whitebirch Armory and their instructors knocked it out of the park for me.I highly recommend R2 with Dylan,it was a great experiance.
