The centerfire single-shot rifle features a matte finish with a steel frame. It also features a round barrel, with adjustable buckhorn and brass bead sights and is drilled/tapped for optional scope use. The stock is constructed of walnut, with a curved pistol grip wrist and solid rubber recoil pad. The action has no external manual safety; it uses a rebounding hammer that can’t touch the firing pin unless the trigger’s deliberately pulled, and an interlock system that doesn’t allow the barrel to open if the hammer’s cocked, or the barrel to close if the hammer’s cocked while it’s open.

Stephen Fey (verified owner) –
Full disclosure: I just got this rifle, less than 100 rounds through it.
The Rifle.
Looks Great! Well made. Nice balance. Shoots accurately. Locks up solidly. Quality is in there. Folding semi-buckhorn sights are adequate.
Single shot forces me to take my time, line up the shot, . I bought this rifle primarily to help me a better, patient, more accurate shooter. That and to have an excellent rifle to pass on to my grandson. Who knew shooting this single shot would be So … Much … Fun!
Couple Things I would like to improve:
1. An option to have a factory installed aperture (peep) sight (rear & front sight)
2. Trigger pull — have the rifle factory standard, but give the owner an option to reduce trigger pull, like, for example, the Savage Accutrigger
