Class & Seminar Policy
1. Cancellations requested more than 14 days prior to the course date are eligible for a full refund.
2. Cancellations requested less than 14 days but more than 72 hours prior to the course date are eligible for a 50% refund of the course tuition.
3. Cancellations requested within 72 hours of the course date are not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, or registration transfers.
4. Instead of canceling, students may transfer their registration at no additional charge to another individual, pending they meet the prerequisites for that course. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the course date.
5. Courses may be rescheduled one time and must be requested at least 7 days prior to the course date. Requests received within 7 days of the course date are not eligible for rescheduling.
6. Failure to attend a course without notice is considered a cancellation within 72 hours and is not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, or registration transfers.
7. In the event a student is unprepared for class (including failure to meet prerequisites, unsafe handling, lack of required equipment, or inability to safely participate), the instructor has authority to dismiss the student and/or suggest alternate training solutions. Dismissal is treated as a cancellation within 72 hours and is not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, or registration transfers.
8. Students are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered absent and are not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, or registration transfers.
9. The White Birch Guarantee: In the unlikely event White Birch Armory must cancel a course, students will be contacted as soon as possible and offered options for rebooking or refunds.
10. Emergencies: While the policies above are enforced consistently, management may review special circumstances at their discretion.
