Yavex ammunition is manufactured to strict NATO/military standards. This 9mm ammunition is produced with new brass, primers, and FMJ bullets. Neck sealing means these cartridges are less susceptible to moisture intrusion and rough handling that could dislodge a projectile. This allows ammunition to be stored for long periods of time, great for practice, training, or stocking up! This ammo is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, reloadable brass. Manufactured in Turkey.

I just fire 50 rds of the Yaves 115 gr 9mm ammo at the range yesterday and was not very happy with the number of rds that failed to fire and 5 or 6 failed to chamber . There must have been 15 that had light primer strikes and failed to fire. I am new to shooting and I have a new Ruger Security 9 and have on hand Federal alum and Sellier & Bellot and have no problems with them. I read some reviews that were good and cautioned about them being unreliable as is the case. It just was unnerving to squeeze and then just a click. I checked and all had a primer strike.

Needed to simulate military duty gear – Beretta M-9, Safariland 6004, surplus magazines and NATO spec ammo. As this was only for training purposes and I needed to be able to run 2000 rounds on the cheap I figured the Yavex would probably work. I underestimated this ammo big time.
I can honestly say this is some of the best shooting 9mm we’ve ever used. Over the course of a two day combative handgun class with over 1800 rounds downrange in two pistols there was not a single malfunction. This stuff shoots surprisingly clean and cycles perfectly every time. The only downside, if this is one, is that being NATO spec it ha a relatively good amount of felt recoil.
Overall, two thumbs up and five stars. From now on this’ll be our go to ammo if NATO spec or +P practice ammo is required.
