Meet the Team

Sean Manning
Owner / Manager

White Birch Armory was founded in 2014 by Sean Manning. Sean is a Purple Heart recipient who spent 8 years serving with the United States Marine Corps. There, he deployed multiple times to Iraq as a Reconnaissance Marine and Scout Sniper. Before starting WBA, Sean spent 10 years working in the firearms industry as an Engineering Technician and later, Testing & Evaluation Manager. Sean is also a master firearms instructor and Precision Scoped Rifle Competitor. When not running his business, he is often learning new DIY skills or relaxing at his family cottage in ME with his puppy, BOZO.

David Guard
Director of Operations

 David served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for 10 years as a Motor Transport Operations Chief.

Dave is an Iraq veteran who also served in Africa and Central America. Before joining White Birch Armory, David worked for 5 years in the firearms industry as an Engineering Technician, Rifle Assembler, and Testing & Evaluation Supervisor.  When not working, David is an avid outdoors-man who can usually be found hiking, fishing, or taking in the NH sites on his motorcycle.

Bozo
HR Director

When visiting our store, BOZO is often the first one to greet everyone at the door.  This goofball loves meeting new people and making everyone at White Birch Armory constantly laugh!

Brenna
Marketing Manager

Brenna brings to White Birch Armory a passion for marketing and event planning.  After receiving her BSBA from Suffolk University, she moved to New Hampshire to be closer to the outdoors.  Brenna hosts her own podcast that highlights women who share their experiences in hunting and fishing.  When not working, she’s usually out pursuing her love for the outdoors with her dog Maple, or visiting family in her hometown on Cape Cod.

Shelby
Website Sales Supervisor

Shelby has been working in the firearms industry since 2012. She has extensive experience as an armorer and has held various positions including QC and Range Coordinator at a firearm manufacturer.  In addition to keeping the guys at White Birch in check, Shelby is a full-time mom and crazy cat lady.

Ken
Assistant Retail Manager

Kenny has worked in the firearm industry for the past three years. He particularly enjoys working on rifles, but has been known to dabble in pistols time to time. When not working, Kenny can be found with his dog and Fiancé either camping, going to ranges, fishing, or taking day trips around New England.

Jessica
Business Data Analyst

Jessica joined White Birch Armory after working for New Hampshire Fish & Game for 9 years.  She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire and is an expert in data collection, laboratory analysis, and data science. At White Birch, Jessica puts those skills to use in manipulating the behind the scenes website data.  When not working, she is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting, fishing, clamming, trapping, and diving with her family friends.

Danielle
Information Desk

Danielle is a military spouse and mother of two, four if you count the German Shepherd and Golden Retriever!  She is an avid runner and lover of the outdoors.  When she’s not running with the family dogs or wrangling kids, she loves spending time with friends and family.

Rob
Warehouse Supervisor

Rob retired from the US Army in 2016 and has been working as a warehouse supervisor ever since.  When not working, Rob enjoys spending time on the lake with family as well as fishing, shooting, and woodworking.

Kitty
Custodian

White Birch Armory’s newest team member!  She’s still in training and is currently better at making a mess than cleaning it up.  Kitty also enjoys following big brother Bozo to the door to greet customers!

Sam
sales/range safety officer

Sam joins the team with over 7 years’ experience in the firearms industry between his competitive shooting years to being a Range Safety Officer. He was also a Volkswagen/Audi tech for 10 years, so in his spare time, Sam enjoys working on his car. After moving every three years throughout his life due to his fathers role in the Air Force, Sam now calls New Hampshire home and is drawn to the Granite State for it’s varying seasons.  

 

Greg
Sales/Range safety officer

Greg comes to White Birch with over 10 years combined military and law enforcement experience.  He spent 4 years with the Marine Corps, deploying twice, before transitioning to law enforcement.  With experience as a SWAT team member and certified firearms instructor, Greg is eager to bring his experience to the sales counter and range at White Birch Armory!  When not working, he enjoys hiking with his dog Kali and cycling.

Seth
sales/range safety officer

Seth is very passionate about firearms and has three years of experience working in the firearms industry as a machinist.  He has been attending school to become a gunsmith.  When not working, Seth is either shooting, camping, hiking, or hunting.

John
Sales/range safety officer

John is new to the firearms industry but is eager to put his friendly and helpful personality to use assisting our customers!  He is passionate about all things firearm related and spends plenty of time shooting.  Previously he’s worked as a machinist.  When not working, in addition to shooting, John loves to cook and go camping.
