Job Summary: Adjunct Instructors are responsible for the effective delivery of classroom and range instruction to White Birch Armory customers under the direction of the Rangemaster.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Instruct pistol, rifle and shotgun classes as scheduled by the Rangemaster.
- Teach private sessions as requested.
- Assist in the development of seminar content and new course material.
- Maintain a high degree of proficiency in adult education and the handling of firearms.
- Possess a current working knowledge of market trends and equipment to best enhance the student experience.
- Participate in quarterly instructor meetings and trainings as scheduled.
- Be available to travel as necessary for remote class offerings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in firearms and adult education.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior diplomacy skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of firearms experience is preferred. Training and experience in adult education is required.
- First responder medical training preferred.
- Certified, or previously certified, law enforcement officer preferred. Military experience also preferred.
- A combination of formal training and experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving in the classroom and range.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Adjunct instructors are paid a flat rate for full day and half day courses for both lead and assistant positions.
